October 9, 2025 | The Medical Colleges of Northern Philippines (MCNP) and the International School of Asia and the Pacific (ISAP) proudly hosted the โInnovatour: The Startup School Caravan,โ spearheaded by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) through its ICT Industry Development Bureau (IIDB).
The one-day caravan gathered select senior high school and college students from Tuguegarao City to cultivate creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurial thinking among the youth in the region.

The event was graced by Engr. Pinky T. Jimenez, Ph.D., DICT Regional Director for Region II, whose leadership and commitment further strengthened the programโs impact.
In his message of support, Dr. Christian R. Guzman, Ph.D., President of MCNP and ISAP, underscored that the Startup School Caravan is a concrete result of the partnership established in July 2024 between the institutions and the DICT, aimed at fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in Northern Philippines.
Resource speakers Ms. Anjenica Maramag and Ms. Johanna F. Tulauan shared insightful discussions on innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship, encouraging participants to develop creative and solution-oriented mindsets.


Through this collaboration, DICT, MCNP, and ISAP continue to strengthen a culture of innovation that transforms challenges into opportunities and promotes sustainable development in Cagayan Valley and beyond.
