Manila, Philippines โ Strengthening academic and cultural collaboration in nursing education, the Medical Colleges of Northern Philippines (MCNP) โ College of Nursing proudly participated in the Mini Lecture: PhilippinesโIndonesia Health Education held on October 3, 2025, at the Ruang Nusantara, Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Manila.
The event, organized by the Education and Culture Attachรฉ of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia, was held in partnership with the Asosiasi Institusi Pendidikan Ners Indonesia (AIPNI) and leading Philippine institutions, including Far Eastern University โ Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation, University of Perpetual Help System DALTA, and Medical Colleges of Northern Philippines.
Representing MCNP were Dean Niรฑa Anne Bernadette Paracad, RN, MSN, who served as one of the invited speakers, together with Ms. Gina Manongas, RN, MSN (Clinical Coordinator), Ms. Lailanie Maguddayao, RN, MSN (Level 4 Coordinator), and Mr. Zeimar Cauilan, RN, MSN (Level 3 Coordinator).

Dean Paracad shared MCNPโs best practices in nursing education, showcasing the institutionโs commitment to nurturing globally competent and community-centered nursing professionals. She joined other distinguished speakers, including Prof. Hema Malini, SKP, MN., Ph.D., Aivi Marie Gulay, RN, MAN, and Dr. Edward Malzan. The event opened with a keynote message from Prof. Nina Yulianti, S.P., M.Si., Ph.D., Education and Culture Attachรฉ of the Embassy.

This collaborative forum aimed to promote shared learning and strengthen international partnerships between nursing institutions of the Philippines and Indonesia. Through active participation, MCNP continues to build bridges in health education, transforming lives through selfless service, excellence, and global engagement.
