I believe that the secret of an eagle is to soar high and to become an excellent hunter. This is how they nurtured the young ones to bring out the best of every individual and able to succeed in their choosen career. The MCNP core values and its culture of excellence that is embodied in my heart is indeed a weapon that inspires me to pursue the hardest track I chose. As a frontliner amidst of the covid-19 pandemic the challenge as nurse-police is not merely focus on caring people but ensuring a public safety through serving and protecting them not only to threat of this unseen enemy but as well us to the lawless elements of the society.

Medical Colleges of Northern Philippines, my beloved alma mater had already produced thousands of successful professionals and i’m lucky and grateful that I’m one of them. As a proud mighty eagle and MCNPian, I have acquired necessary skills, knowledge, and attitude which helped me survived and shone in my workplace as a Staff Nurse in Germany. As a Filipino nurse, i always execute the tasks given to me with compassion, respect, and care without reservation and hesitation especially during these difficult times like the Covid19 pandemic. It is an honor to be a Filipino and a great blessing to be of service to the global arena

“Study, Study, Study, and Pray” These are the motivating and powerful words from our late Father Eagle, Dr. Ronald P. Guzman, which are being shared in our most significant events in the school like Tuesday Forum, General Assembly, and Commencement Exercises. These immortal words remind every mighty eagle that praying and studying are two of the most effective ways to be successful. The core values and the culture of excellence imbibed by my dearest Alma Mater had helped me effectively coped and survived in dealing with COVID and non-COVID patients in the United Kingdom. As a Filipino nurse, I was able to display my professionalism and commitment to my profession especially amidst difficult times like the COVID-19 pandemic, The values that I am carrying not only as a Filipino but as a Mighty Eagle warrior and proud MCNPian are my potent

I have always believed in following one’s own dreams and aspirations and doing everything possible to achieve it. More than being taught hard work and perseverance, the College of Nursing gave me the opportunity to build my confidence through knowledge and skills. Furthermore, it has opened up doors of network and other possibilities that has led me to become the young health care professional I am now. May the College and its brilliant teaching staff continuously grow and inspire more youth of our generation.

Resourcefulness. Reliability. Compassion. These are the three values that this institution has taught me which brought me to the exact place I wanted to be, doing the job that I love most. The school taught me to be resourceful through various retreats and camps we got to experience. I can honestly say that through this experience I became flexible even in difficult situations since I am working in a multinational company and dealing with diverse cultures. Reliability, which I mirrored from our clinical instructors as they are very supportive and very much solicitous about the welfare of their students. They were there from laying all the groundwork up until the end of the tunnel. MCNP served as my second home not only because the staff and administration were very kind but also the healthy environment it provides. This inspired me as a healthcare provider to deliver service to my patients with compassionate care whilst providing them quality healthcare they deserve from a mighty eagle. Indeed, MCNP provides high-quality education. I am forever grateful to this institution and will be praying that they produce more globally competitive professionals.

“𝗣𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮 𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀” Through the generosity and quality of this institution, I became a globally Competitive health care provider. I was then a regular “ 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘦” 𝘤𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘳. Thank you because of MCNP, my dreams came true. I was convinced by late Dr. Ronald P. Guzman, President of the school to take Radiologic Technology. “𝐒𝐨𝐚𝐫 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐦𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐲 𝐞𝐚𝐠𝐥𝐞𝐬”- his motivating words every Tuesday forum became my mantra of achieving my dreams in life. Now I’m one of the fearless mighty eagles, serving humanity with fidelity in 𝙛𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘾𝙊𝙑𝙄𝘿 19 𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙐𝘼𝙀. The knowledge and skills, I acquired in this school, helped me provide the highest level of care to my patients. My strong determination and confidence which was molded in this institution is my armor in dealing with the diverse cultures of my fellow health care providers around 50 plus nationalities from across the world. I made the right decision in choosing Radiologic Technology. Rad Tech plays a major role in the medical field. We are not “ fixing radio” or “ push button operators”. 𝐖𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐲𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐞. Rad tech provides quality images in different sections like X-ray, CT-Scan, MRI, Fluoroscopy, DEXA, Ultrasound, NUCMED, Mammography for proper diagnosis, and treatment of each patient. 𝙍𝙏 𝙞𝙨 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙝𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙥𝙖𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙟𝙤𝙗𝙨 𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙖𝙗𝙧𝙤𝙖𝙙. It allows me to meet different people and explore the world. So aim like the tallest building in Dubai (Burj Khalifa). Spread your wings and soar high mighty eagles. Thank you and stay safe.

There were times that I faced difficulties in my career but as a mighty eagle, I was molded into being a resilient and competent professional who does not back down whatever it takes. My alma mater taught and raise me that way. In this crisis, as an in-patient physical therapist who rehabilitates patients with different cases and areas, I make sure that they get the best quality of care. I will forever be grateful for everything that this institution taught me and for building my professional character and skills.
