The International School of Asia and the Pacific was awarded the Institutional Excellence Award by PACBE at the Lyceum of the Philippines-Davao on January 25, 2025.

The award was received by the CB Ronie E. Sugarol, Quality Assurance Director of MCNP-ISAP.

In addition, CB Eduard John Opina and CB Jahn Wilson Castillo accompanied the CB Quality Assurance Director to the National Customs Broker Educators Conference held January 24-25 in Davao City.

The conference, hosted by the Philippine Association of Customs Brokers in Education, Inc. (PACBE), focused on “Innovating Customs Administration Education: Advancing Quality Education vis-ร -vis Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure for Sustainable Development.โ€

CB Castillo and CB Opina presented research papers at the National Research Conference on Customs and Logistics. Mr. Opina’s research presentation on “The Use of Snake and Ladder to Develop Students’ Knowledge on the Customs Modernization and Tariff Act” was awarded Third Best Research Paper.

Both instructors also received a Teaching Excellence Award from PACBE alongside CB Sugarol.

The conference sought to foster stronger ties between academic institutions and customs industry professionals.
