The Medical Colleges of Northern Philippines and the International School of Asia and the Pacific held a training seminar for its faculty on August 16, 2019 at the RadTech AVR.

Spearheaded by Winnie T. Cancejo, RRT, MPH, the Dean of Radiologic Technology, the seminar, with the theme “Training Seminar on Teaching Strategies: Syllabi Making and Blended Learning Styles,” served as a training ground for the twin institutions’ employees.

The event was attended by Presenita C. Aguon, Ph.D., the Vice President for Academic Affairs who served as the opening speaker and Mr. Dan Paolo E. Ramos, HSHM who gave the rationale of the activity. Dean Winnie Cancejo served as the speaker of the seminar where she gave a presentation on methods for better engaging Generation Z speakers in the morning and a presentation on institution-based syllabus composition in the afternoon.

The participating faculty were then given an opportunity to check and revise their syllabi for the upcoming fiscal year. Select participants then gave a presentation of their output for critique from Dean Winnie and Dr. Presenita. Participants were then awarded with a certificate for their participation.
