Manila, Philippines – Dr. Christian R. Guzman, School President of the Medical Colleges of Northern Philippines (MCNP) and the International School of Asia and the Pacific (ISAP), participated in the National Education Summit 2025, organized by Synergia Foundation. This prestigious gathering brought together education leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders to discuss transformative strategies for improving the Philippine education system, in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDG) 2030, particularly SDG 4: Quality Education.

Held under the theme “Building a Stronger Educational Future Through Collaboration and Innovation,” the summit tackled key issues such as educational reforms, digital transformation in learning, global competitiveness, and strengthening public-private partnerships in education. These discussions align with SDG 4’s target of ensuring inclusive, equitable, and quality education for all, while promoting lifelong learning opportunities.

Dr. Guzman’s participation highlighted MCNP and ISAP’s commitment to academic excellence, internationalization, and innovation in education. The institutions continue to implement strategies that enhance access to quality education, integrate sustainability in curricula, and provide equitable opportunities for learners, especially those in under served communities.

The summit also served as a platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and fostering partnerships between educational institutions, government agencies, and private organizations.

By actively participating in national and global education dialogues, MCNP and ISAP reaffirm their commitment to aligning academic programs and institutional initiatives with the UN SDG 2030 agenda. Through sustainable education policies, innovative teaching methodologies, and global partnerships, both institutions aim to produce globally competent graduates who will contribute to a more inclusive and sustainable future.
