Tuguegarao City, Philippines – Representatives from the Medical Colleges of Northern Philippines (MCNP) and the International School of Asia and the Pacific (ISAP) actively participated in the 2025 Internationalization Meeting hosted by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Regional Office 02 on February 11, 2025.

The virtual meeting focused on internationalization activities for 2025 and the creation of an Internationalization Association in Region 02. The initiative aligns with CHED’s commitment to enhancing global engagement and collaboration among higher education institutions (HEIs) in the region.

During the discussions, MCNP and ISAP reaffirmed their dedication to expanding global partnerships, fostering academic mobility, and integrating international best practices into their educational programs. Their participation highlights their ongoing efforts to provide quality and globally competitive education to students.

CHED Region 02 officials emphasized the importance of international collaboration in improving the quality of education, research, and institutional linkages. The proposed Internationalization Association is expected to serve as a platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and collaborative projects among HEIs in Cagayan Valley.

MCNP and ISAP’s involvement in this initiative underscores their commitment to strengthening international ties, ensuring that students and faculty benefit from diverse learning opportunities and cross-border educational experiences.

The institutions look forward to further engagements with CHED and regional HEIs as they continue their journey toward academic excellence and global competitiveness.
