HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES SEEKING ENTRANCE TO MCNP

 

High school graduates seeking admission to MCNP should submit all of the following requirements:

 

  1. The original form 138-A/High School Report Card;
  2. Certificate of Good Moral Character duly signed by the Principal or Guidance Counselor of the High School;
  3. Photocopy of NSO-issued Birth Certificate;
  4. 6 copies of the latest 2x2colored I.D. picture with white background;
  5. Must submit a medical certificate that he/she is physically and mentally fit; and
  6. Other requirements as prescribed by the College or Department where student is seeking admission.

 

STUDENTS SEEKING RE-ENTRY

MCNP students who discontinued their studies for one (1) or more semesters, without prior permission, may be refused admission. If allowed for readmission, students should comply with the requirements applicable to transferees.

 

TRANSFEREES

 

Transferees from other schools should submit all of the following requirements:

  1. Issued by the Registrar of the school previously attended;
  2. Certificate of Good Moral Character signed by the Dean of Student Services of the school previously attended;
  3. Certified True Copy of Grades/ Transcript of Records (TOR);
  4. Six (6) copies of the latest 2×2 colored I.D. picture with white background;
  5. NSO-issued Birth Certificate;
  6. Must establish at least one (1) year of residency in ISAP prior to graduation;
  7. Must pass evaluation and interview with the Program Coordinator or Dean;
  8. Take written and oral qualifying examinations as well as physical and psychological examinations;
  9. Must submit a medical certificate that he/she is physically and mentally fit;
  1. NBI clearance; and
  2. Other requirements as prescribed by the College or Department where student is seeking admission.

 

SECOND COURSERS

Degree-holders who wish to enroll in a second course should present all of the following requirements:

 

  1. Official Transcript of Records;
  2. Certificate of Good Moral Character from previous school signed by the Dean;
  3. NBI Clearance;
  4. NSO-issued Birth Certificate;
  5. Six (6) copies of the latest 2×2 colored I.D. picture with white background;
  1. Letter of Permission from the employer, if working
  2. Satisfactorily meets the written and oral entrance examination cut-off grade of 83%
  3. May be required to take written and oral qualifying examinations as well as physical and psychological examinations;
  4. Satisfactorily pass an admission interview process;
  5. Evaluation of subjects previously taken and credited to be made by the Academic/Department Head;
  6. Must submit a medical certificate that he/she is physically and mentally fit;
  7. Exhibits a behavior becoming of a student; and
  8. Other requirements as prescribed by the College or Department where student is seeking admission.

 

SCHOLARHIP / FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

 

The school grants scholarships and financial assistance to students who graduated from high school with honors and even those belonging to the top 20 of the high school graduating class. The following are the specific grants:

 

Based on High School Standing:

 

VALEDICTORIAN Free tuition and miscellaneous fees for the whole course.
SALUTATORIAN Free tuition fee for the whole course, miscellaneous fee under Study Now Pay Later Plan (SNPLP)
FIRST HONORABLE MENTION Free tuition fee for two (2) years
SECOND HONORABLE MENTION Free tuition fee for one (1) year
THIRD HONORABLE MENTION Free tuition fee for One (1) semester.
TOP 6–10 Php 2,000.00 discount for First Semester
TOP 11–20 Php 1,000.00 discount for First Semester.
STUDENTS WITH AN AVERAGE

   OF 85% AND ABOVE

Php 500.00 discount for First Semester

 

SONS AND DAUGHTERS OF ELEMENTARY

AND HIGH SCHOOL TEACHERS

25% discount on Tuition Fee for the whole course.

Based on Current MCNP Standing:

ACADEMIC AWARDS

Students with general average higher than 93% are granted scholarship thus:

President’s List

  • Students with general average of 94% and above
  • Refund tuition at the end of the semester.

Dean’s List

  • Students with 90 – 93% general average
  • Refund half of tuition fee at the end of the semester.

 STUDENT GRANTEES

Orphans of both parents belonging to the poor families are likewise given scholarship, provided that they maintain the required grades.

 

OTHER SCHOLARSHIP GRANTS:

 

25% Discount on Tuition Fees for sons and daughters of AFP, PNP, other military personnel, rebel returnees and integrees and private security agency for those seeking Public Administration, Customs Administration and Caregivers.

 

30% Discount on tuition fees for sons and daughters of Fisher Folks and Farmers for those seeking admission for Fish and Prawn Culture and Civil Construction special courses.

 

STUDY-NOW-PAY-LATER PLAN (SNPLP) – 50 %

 

Requirements:

1) Income Tax Return (ITR) of Parents

2) NBI Clearance

3) MOA Form from the accounting office

4) One (1) copy of the latest, colored 2X2 I.D. picture

5) Certificate of indigenous group membership
